Study on LNT After-treatment Apparatus for EURO-VI

Abstract
Various researches have been done after-treatment technologies how to reduce harmful emissions such as NOx emitted from diesel vehicles. NOx emission is produced drastically according to higher temperature inside combustion chamber and surrounding atmosphere. So far, NOx reduction technologies have been developed by controlling frame in a combustion chamber. EGR has been known as this kind technology. This technology is effective in the reduction of NOx somewhat, but still exhaust emission do not meet EURO-VI emission regulation in vehicles. This study aims to investigate how to reduce NOx emission by applying LNT technology.
